You can download recent older SketchUp versions here. While SketchUp used to have a free program to download, it has been discontinued. It still has a limited browser-based program that can be used for free.

In , Trimble acquired the Google SketchUp software and has been steadily advancing the software. For several years Trimble offered a free desktop version called SketchUp Make, but sadly it appears this is no longer available.
