We recommend taking these next steps. Go into your date and time settings. Once there would you please set your device clock to manual and then set it to the wrong time. After you have done this, please go to your home screen and close all the applications using the recent apps button to the left of the home button.
After you have completed all this, please go back to the date and time settings and set it back to the correct time and set it back to automatic time. This will re-sync your device's internal clock with your network. Go to your application manager and locate the Play store. Once here, clear the cached data then force stop the application and restart the application as normal. If you are still experiencing problems, please provide more information about your device.
This would include your model number, current android version, and if you are on a public or private WiFi network. This may assist the community and us in better determining what you are experiencing, so that we may provide better solutions. I'm experiencing this same problem. My note 7 worked fine on the same WiFi network a few hours ago.
I traded my note 7 in for this j7 yesterday. I tried installing some apps on the WiFi network at the the tmobile store with no luck and I assumed it would work at home. On my home WiFi, still no luck downloading apps, they queue up and sit forever, as soon as i turn off WiFi they download immediately.
This is an odd problem to have. Have you tried the steps provided by SamsungJuan given earlier in the thread? I am having the same issue, even though it used to download apps like nothing, and now apps are stuck on "waiting to download" and they never do. Have tried everything that was mentioned, even clearing data and cache and still have the same issue, what else is there to try?
I really need to download an app, and just can't. I am having the same issue. Just got a new J7, and it is taking forever to download apps, sometimes fails all together.
My google account is there, seems fine, can browse the web, sign in with google, etc. But no apps. Galaxy store works fine, but I have many purchase apps linked to the play store and I can't use them. Just spent three hours trying every option I cold find on the web before resetting and now that's failed!
Just about ready to trash this phone and never buy samsung again. This is basic functionality! Very frustrated with the phone. And of course I cant download any app.
