The adventure is interrupted by several mini-games, some of which are much better than others. We'll come across new characters, such as few new bad guys , but also other well-known characters like Foxxie, Sugar, Puppet or Freddy.

Doing so prompts Circus Baby to tell the story of the only time she was ever on stage; she was aware of the exact number of children at each moment, and when one girl went up to her alone, her body seized up and the girl vanished, with her screams muffled by the excited cries of the partygoers.
This event is further elaborated on via dialogue from an unnamed girl upset that her father, strongly suggested to be William Afton, refuses to let her go near Baby that plays between nights, and a minigame that occasionally appears after the player dies. Though Mike succeeds in his task, he is captured by Funtime Foxy and wakes up the next night trapped in a spring-lock suit, in an area known as the Scooping Room.
Baby explains to Mike that she kidnapped him, and as unseen employees comment on the animatronics' recurring malfunctions, she comments that unlike them, she's learned how to "pretend". As Ballora is "scooped" by a large machine, Mike is left to survive the night against Minireenas while stopping the spring-lock suit from crushing him.
On Night 5, the two employees are found hanged, and Mike is instructed by Baby to destroy her body by sending it to the Scooping Room. However, it is soon discovered that Baby, along with the other animatronics, have combined themselves into a single body known as Ennard, and wish to use Mike's body as a disguise to escape the facility. Two endings occur from this; the "Real Ending" has Mike tricked into entering the Scooping Room, where he is killed with the Scooper and his body used by Ennard.
An alternate ending occurs by completing the death minigame and defying Baby's instructions on Night 5; Mike enters a private room and must fend off Ennard until 6 AM in a manner similar to the original game, before returning home with Ennard managing to escape the facility regardless.
